Woman, young lady, girl, etc...

Attention men of Athens: You use the word "female" to describe animals or halves of electrical outlets, not women you want to impress. Being called "female" is not endearing, nor does it compliment your vocabulary range as you so hoped. You even say "female" a certain way that kind of makes my entire body go dry. Please just stop.

Ugh- what's even more repulsive is when women refer to other women as "females." It's never in a positive manner; usually something like "My man was talkin' to this female and I almost whooped the b****!" I'd like to find the rap artist who first introduced this terminology into the vernacular and punch him in the throat.

I'd like to add a condition to number 3:

The really old person can't be creepy.

Honey and Sweetie are okay if you are one of the following:
1. the woman's boyfriend/fiancé/husband
2. the woman's father/grandfather
3. really old. like REALLY old.

What about "honey" or "sweetie"?

AH! I agree wholeheartedly. I hate being called female, woman, girl, chick, etc. Seriously, I have a name, address me as such.

I completely agree...it sounds like they're out hunting.

Thumbs up!!! Seriously..."female?!" Do they think they have a chance?
