What is up with the checks and x's? Where did the faces go?

I miss the smileys, and the way the div (containers) for the comments section is displayed oddly- the gap between the original post and the comments doesn't look right. Kudos for the cool formatting options, except we need italics.

Well, it seems easier to read now in the new format. Even the CAPTCHA is more readable. formatting! Woot!

I am not personally a Face book user, but they cannot be doing all that bad. Even with a new design.

Maybe the site owners decided to set them free. Or they coudl be on Spring Break. Or maybe they just needed a rest. Those check marks and x's have doing this a lot longer than the smiley faces. Maybe the are all at Smiley Face Convention.

they just changed the layout like a week ago. it's not like people are using it anymore, but everyone i talk to hates the new design.

or maybe they decided it'd be a good idea to make a new athensvent, just like the facebook people thought. ugh.
