biochem is not a subject that comes easily to most people! so why, why, WHY would you give us the most vague notes possible, and then when we come to you for help tell us we should rely on the book that we can barely understand as a supplement and give us no other information? we are not Ph. D. biochem students... in fact the only reason we are taking this class is because it''s a requirement, not because we have any love for the subject. and you most certainly don''t inspire any interest in it... not to mention you accuse us of cheating and tell us what sub-par students we are on a daily basis. i loathe your course, i loathe you, and i would like nothing better than to set my book ablaze, preferably in your office. pompous ass.

To 3/09 - science is not necessarily an EASY subject. It might be easy for you, but that doesn''t mean that it''s easy for everyone else. Stop being ignorant and simple-minded. By the way, you''re probably not so great in the Humanities area, are you?

I agree with the vent. A lot of professors make courses much harder than they need to be, and if I''m thinking of the same professor as the OP, he has to go back and give partial credit on almost every test because he is so terrible at writing exams.

Just because someone''s having a hard time at a particular subject, it doesn''t mean they''re a failure at life.

Oh, and to the last poster, don''t you feel it''s a bit of a stretch to call someone stupid because they hate biochem? I''d say that makes them normal. Have YOU ever taken that course?

Science is an easy subject. Whether it''s chemistry, biology, physics, or anything else that you would like to call science. You have a book, learn from it! Wait, what? You can barely understand? Learn to read. If you can''t learn from a book, I wouldn''t want your dumb f*** self looking at my pets or anyone at that. You''re just memorizing it! It''s similar to math! E-A-S-Y! It''s a psychological pattern where people will blame others for their shortcomings, but credit themselves for their success. Face it, you''re stupid!

i wrote the vent, i''m in pharmacy school, and i had no problem in biochem last semester. we have a different professor this semester and he SUCKS. my previous professor was by no means easy, but he was at least straightforward in the way he taught and on his exams. no doubt i WILL pass this semester but when i go from an A last semester to a C this semester i would venture a guess that the problem is the professor and not me...

i agree w the vent. most of the science professors have no idea how to teach. i had the same experience in chem freshman year...

If you are taking BioChem, then you are probably in a pretty rigorous course of study...Bio (Pre-Med), etc. If you can''t handle BioChem, and you can''t figure out or decode the book then you may as well pick a new course of study. Sure it''s a requirement...but it''s a requirement for a reason. No one likes BioChem...that''s a given, but it is a way to weed out the weak. Just givin'' it to ya'' straight like. :)
