I do not make the rules, I make minimum wage

dear arrogant time-wasting rude sir,
I am sorry I could not permit your 15 year-old son and his friends into the movie at 9. There is a rule that after 8 anyone under 17 must have a parent or guardian accompany him/her to the movie. Did I make this rule? No. Did my boss just spend 10 minutes getting on to me about not checking everyone's ID after 8? Yes. Does your son look obviously under the age of 17? Oh yes. Does that give you the right to jump in front a line of customers and complain about something i have no control over? I'd like to think not. I tried to be polite as I explained the rule, pointed to the sign, and apologized for the inconvenience. Apparently your frustration was too great and you just had to tell me this was bull.
Then, as you retreat you tell me to screw myself.
In front of your son and all the customers. What an example to give. Great parenting. Tell a 21 year old girl to screw herself because she's working at a sh*tty minimum wage job and has to deal with a**hats like you. You should be proud of yourself, you must be very brave to have the courage to say "screw you" to someone stuck behind a wall of glass.
Please, never return to the theatre. Thank you

so many parents just totally suck at parenting!

they are assholes and they are raising future assholes so, that's one resource that we'll never run short of - I wish we could harness the power of assholes for energy production.

What can I say except that customers suck?

That guy is an entitlement whore.

I am so tired of the lack of parenting as of late. Kids are not handbags. You can't just tote them around. You actually have to WORK at turning them into decent and worthy members of society. Also, why is everything everyone else's fault? My kid failed, so it's the teacher's fault. Well MY child got fired for not showing up to work on time, it's his/her's bosses's fault! No...MY child lost his/her license for reckless driving; cops are such pigs!! I am so sick of it. No one wants to take blame or teach their children how to take blame. It is always someone or something that is at fault. A teacher, boss, cop, hair color, skin color, gender, weight...etc. It is just mind boggling to me how no one can take responsibility.

Because HE doesn't want the job of parenting! That's what teachers, coaches, store clerks, and theatre employees are for. What an ass.

Why didn't he take one for the team and go in with them?
