driving

attn 316 drivers: everyone pay attention, the LEFT lane is the FAST lane. The RIGHT lane is the SLOW lane. Another concept that everyone seems to be having trouble grasping is moving over to the right lane once you pass someone while in the left so that others can continue driving fast in the left lane. Again, left = fast, right = slow.

This really is a bad thing we've got going on here. In Europe, people have to go to driving class for a year, pay $1500 for their license and continue to take tests yearly. The result? When I was driving in Europe and going slow in the left lane, people going 150 mph would politely slow down, flash their brights so you could move over and continue on their way. Back here I'm trying to get to work running late and the Korean War Vet in the left lane is going 50 and looking at me like he's the ACCPD. Meanwhile, soccer mom is frantically trying to get to the store, but applying her makeup and slowing down. This has to end folks. Lets get a petition going to stop this. I'll be the first to sign up.

preach on! preach on! it makes me want to invent something with arms that can reach out and shake some sense into those people!!! when you pass in a one lane road, which way do you go? to the left, to the left! same if it's 2 or 4 or 6 lanes!

Unfortunately, this is an issue everywhere. My favorite is when two people are going the same speed in both lanes so nobody can go around either of them.
