i wont say where i work. gonna keep it anonymous. but, this applies to everyone who visits any public places, ever.
my job is by no means a glorious career, and i dont plan to work there for the rest of my life. but it is a job. the chances of coming across one of those in this economy is 1 in 1,000,000,000. especially in a collage town where it seems like students get first choice of jobs. being an Athens native, its very frustrating dealing with out of town/county/state students who are rude, obnoxious, alcoholic little pricks. and its not just people coming into my work place. just going into shops around town, i deal with you F***ers. walking around with your polo shirts and khakis. sandals and UGA hats. top it off with a big ugly puffy wind jacket, and you got a typical UGA fratty whos living off daddys money and only got a job so he can restock the fridge with natty and keystone. and the thing is, even if i had the time or money to go to collage, i would never choose UGA. not because its a bad school. its actually not. mainly because of the dumbf***s you see "repping that gear" i refuse to be associated with people like that. dont get me wrong. i dont judge people on their looks. i may point them out, but i dont 'judge' them. i mean, im sure everyone who sees me probably thinks im dressed weird, and i usually am. its their snotty, high and mighty attitudes. thinking they are some kind of gods.
so, if you are a student... remember where you came from, because it probably wasnt Athens. believe it or not, some of us were actually born here, and grew up here. our rich daddys didnt send us away to an out of state collage. we make do with what we got. it may not be much, but we're damn proud of it.
