Anybody in the crosswalk

Everybody knows you have the right-of-way... Unfortunately for you, front bumpers don't get the concept. We will definitley stop for you if you give us the time, but don't ever assume we're going to. The next time you step out in the crosswalk expecting the cars to stop, you might find yourself closely acquainted with an unsympathetic front bumper.

Finally my dreams come true! That chick who got tagged by the campus transit bus was a godsend. Even though it wasn't caught on tape, it at least got front page of the Red and Black. The best and funniest part is that THE POLICE GAVE HER THE TICKET. Oh oh, that is rich! That iss Rich!

But I am right!

I think his point was- if a car's coming, don't cross, because even if they WANT to stop for you, they have no time to. When I'm a pedestrian, I know better than to jump in front of a oncoming car, crosswalk or not, cross signal or not. It's called common sense. and for those of you that think the car will have time to stop, it's called natural selection.
And MY point is- pedestrian or driver, stop being single mided and think about how things are for the other person before leaving pissed off comments about how you're always completely right.

I long for the day when a naive UGA MOMMY'S/DADDY'S GIRL/BOY gets obliterated at a crosswalk because they did not pay attention to the crosswalk signal. It will be even better when it is caught on tape and broadcast that they were on their cell phone or jammin to Brittany Spears on their IPOD. I hope I am there. I hope I can watch what little brain matter they had smear across the pavement like warm butter on my sunday morning toast. Maybe then pedestrians will actually pay attention, but probably not, stupidity is a hard disease to cure. Maybe the driver will get a ticket, YOU WILL BE DEAD!

You are supposed to stop BEFORE the crosswalk, not at the crosswalk.

If you enter the crosswalk when 1) being signalled not to or b) the oncoming traffic has no chance to stop YOU are the one who has broken the law. It's called jaywalking. Look it up. It's not too much to ask for pedestrians to pay attention. You don't automatically have the right of way all of the time just because you're on foot.

01-24, who the fuck are you to tell other people what they should drive?

01/24/2007 - 20:42

maybe you should get off your cell phone and pay more attention. by the way, you don't need a hummer to drive up baxter hill. trade it in for a honda, k?

My bumper doesn't care if I get a ticket either.

just so you know, if you hit someone in a crosswalk, you're the one getting the ticket.
