i hate motorcycles

just because your on a motorcycle, doesnt mean the rules of the road dont apply to you. and i think most of you forget that your motorcycle is alot smaller than my SUV, and sometimes hard to see.

once i was going down Atlanta highway in front of bestbuy. i was in the left lane, and a white pickup was in the right. we both needed to switch, and had our signals on. the white pickup slowed down, and i sped up a bit so we can do the ole switcheroo. and just as we both started changing lanes, some dumbf**k on his motorcycle decideds to port around the white pickup and weave around our vehincs just so he can be in the front, and lead the convoy.

if he were to lean a little too far, he could have very easily fell off his little toy, and slid right under my tires.

so take this in consideration when your climbimg onto your motorcycle, and about to get into heavy traffic. your smaller than most of the vehicles, and stupid stuff like this can really cause a tragic accident. or, if done to the wrong person, could get you purposly ran over OR shot.

Cyclists are worse than bikers. I see them violate the rules of the road every day. Every. Day.

Some motorcycle was blazing down 316 the other week. Kept tailgating everyone and weaving through traffic. Also, his cycle kept backfiring, sounded like someone shooting a shotgun! So obnoxious!

you make a good point. i guess its not so much the motorcycle, but the people on them. big motorcycles are okay, cuz they vibrate everything and you know theres one somewhere around you, but when you hear one of those little speed bikes its just like "omg, is there a bee in my car?"

To clarify- you don't hate motorcycles, you hate the behaviors that CERTAIN people demonstrate while using them.

That whole situation could have been avoided if people would just pay attention to signals. This seems to be new as it used to just be people not signaling but they've stepped it up to ignoring it when other people do signal.

I had the same thing happen to me on the highway only it was some idiot in a car. I'm passing a 16-wheeler and I see a car behind me coming up fast. I speed up a little more and turn on my right hand signal so that they know I'm going back into the right hand lane the second I pass the truck. This isn't good enough for the guy behind me who gets dangerously close to the front of the truck as he flies around me as I'm trying to get back into the right hand lane.
