Hey Lady

I have been a pedestrian many times before, and will be again.
When I am clearly jaywalking, I try hard not to get in the way of traffic.
I know I'm not supposed to be in the middle of the road, so if a car is coming, I move.
Soooo, when I see someone taking a leisurely stroll through the middle of the street, I take it upon myself to give them a bit of a scare to get their butt in gear. I don't slow down. If you are in the middle of the street illegally- watch out, because I will hit you. Once I get close enough though, I always slow down, because even if I'm angry, I don't have it in me to hurt someone. Usually they don't seem to care that they almost got hit by a car. They don't even try to hurry along. But hopefully, I'm getting across to some people that they are putting themselves in a dangerous position, and some drivers in annoying positions.
That being said- to the lady crossing Thomas St. sorry I almost hit you for real.
I think you taught me a lesson about my lesson.

The most ridiculous pedestrians are the ones on campus who will stand will their backs to the crosswalk or engage in some other action that makes them appear to be just hanging out, but then they suddenly walk into the road. Is it shameful to cross the road? Are they being followed by someone? Strange.

Just honk at them. If you honk they'll look up and see that you're not slowing down and either hurry up or get back on the side walk.
