Lumpkin Street idiots
I get so f*cking frustrated every time I am on Lumpkin crossing Broad Street because some idiot decides to sneak over to the right hand turn lane to bypass everyone in the straight/left turn lane so they can go straight across! The RIGHT arrow is there for a reason!
I especially hate it when I have to shift lanes and turn right onto Clayton because there is some jerk in the lane who ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THERE. Waiting a few seconds behind the rest of us in the CORRECT lane won't kill you.

but thats not the way the road used to be. back when there were no bike lanes.... only a distant memory now... and lumpkin was 4 lanes
But it might kill a pedestrian someday. And to the first comment, I think bike lanes (anything to reduce cars on campus) is a good thing. Plus, it really doesn't matter how it "used" to be. Not that you're really saying it does....
Oh, and I really hate Lumpkin b/c of how students will use the bike lane as a parking lane to pick up their friends.
ME TOO. I'm the original poster and I usually ride my bike. It's kind of scary/frustrating when you have to stop on a hill that steep because someone doesn't understand what the bike lane is for.
and yeah, so what if it used to be 4 lanes? That's irrelevant. The arrows are very clear and easy to understand. Not abiding by them is dangerous, especially in an area so saturated by cars, bicycles, pedestrians, etc.
