Homecoming Parade

I've been to a few college homecoming parades in my day and I have to say, this year's display of Greek floats was absolutely pathetic. Did the students make these floats the day of the parade? My six year old could have built a better looking float out legos and finger paint. What happened to having a little pride and going all out? Anyone agree with me on this? Why the lack of effort?

what happened to chicken wire and tissue paper? thats exactly what we used for my groups homecoming float and it took several days to put together.

What happened to chicken wire and tissue paper? That's how floats were done in my day, and we would spend days putting them together. The homecoming floats this year looked like a first grader's art project.

Maybe they'd rather get drunk and screw than make a homecoming parade float? idk
