The Blue Honda parked in the cross hatch

It's hard enough to navigate through that parking lot. Parking in the yellow stripped areas, you know, the no parking areas, makes it d@mn near impossible.

Those areas are designated as no parking so that people can get in and out of real parking spaces and maneuver through the parking lot. People shouldn't have to waste 10 minutes inching around just to avoid a car that isn't supposed to be there in the first place.

What are you going to do when someone ends up hitting your car? You can't complain; you were illegally parked. Any damage to your vehicle will be your fault.

I still have to see the law in question. Besides, they'd have to catch you hitting the car first.

he or she is right (whoever posted the first comment). the law doesn't allow a driver to be free of liability for hitting a parked car just because the person is parked illegally.

I'd need to see the law regarding this before I buy that the person illegally parked is completely off the hook.

i hate when people park illegally.

the sad part is that you're wrong, though. it doesn't matter that they're parked illegally if someone hits them. the person operating the moving vehicle would be at fault and have to pay for the damage.
