I've been to a few college homecoming parades in my day and I have to say, this year's display of Greek floats was absolutely pathetic. Did the students make these floats the day of the parade? My six year old could have built a better looking float out legos and finger paint. What happened to having a little pride and going all out? Anyone agree with me on this? Why the lack of effort?

Why can''t the business school have separate classes for their prerequisites? That way, frat boys wouldn''t have to take classes with the rest of us and make college generally unpleasant

To all of you girls who will not SHUT UP during lecture...LEAVE. I understand that this is a freshman level class and you probably haven''t figured out yet that college is not like high school, but is it really that difficult to be quiet when the teacher is lecturing? I sit in that class three times a week having to listen to you talk to each other THE ENTIRE TIME. It is RUDE to Dr. Knox & to your fellow students. How about skip class & go have your gossip session in your dorm room?

Who remembers the EXACT date they moved into a place they were living at for 7 years? Why aren''t the dates in the mm/yyyy format like the rest of the graduate school application?

I don't get it. What changed in the last month that wasn't the case for the last decade?

A girl was sitting on a crowded bus holding her cell phone up in the air while rap music blasted from it. OTHER PEOPLE CAN HEAR YOUR MUSIC. The same goes for people--mainly guys-- who wear headphones and turn their music up so freaking loud that the bass reverberates through the floor and every single person on the bus gets the pleasure of listening to whatever rap s*** they choose. seriously, headphones were created for a reason--turn the music down. don't force everyone around you to listen to your s***.

Why do UGA students think that only UGA students live in Athens? This city certainly makes money off the students, but some of us live here *during* school holidays as well. The city doesn't revolve around the 18-22 year olds that live here for 8 months a year.

I am so annoyed at people who take their time walking through the crosswalks. If a car stopped so that you could cross the street, you should be courteous enough to pick up the pace so they can get on with their day.

It makes me laugh how seriously the moderators of the UGA-FORSALE LISTSERV take their responsibility. It's even funnier how they feel the need to express their opinions on such things as handgun ownership. Relax, take a deep breath and realize you have no real power. It's a LISTSERV for goodness sakes.
